Badang and the Singapore Stone
According to local Malay folklore, Badang began as a poor fisherman who plied his trade at mouth of the Singapore River. One day he caught a genie in his fishing net, and in return of his release, the genie granted Badang’s wish to be the strongest man alive.
Impressed with Badang’s enormous strength, the Rajah of Singapura appointed him as the imperial warrior. Soon, other kingdoms heard of Badang’s fame and sent their warriors to challenge him. The king of India, in particular, sent his kingdom’s strongest man Wadi Bijaya to Singapura for a duel. In the last contest, Badang beat Wadi Bijaya by lifting a huge rock and throwing it towards the Singapore River.
Ancient inscriptions were added to the rock, probably to commemorate Badang’s achievements but centuries later in 1843, the British colonial government blasted it to pieces. Known as the Singapore Stone, only a fragment remains, and is now kept in the Singapore History Museum.

THE WOLF AND THE STORK
There was once a wolf who felt so hungry. He gulped down all his food as though his life depended on it. No wonder he had a chicken bone stuck in his throat! But it was not long before the kingdom was invaded by another country and Chun Yufen had to lead the troops to hold out the enemies. Unfortunately, his troops were defeated and his wife died. Chun Yufen was badly hit and he felt very disappointed to himself, so he decided to leave the Kingdom of Pagoda. In the end, he was sent home by the atomy. As soon as he arrived home, he woke up to realize what had happened was just a dream, which only took him a short time to have. There lay the half glass of alcohol on the ground in front of him. And there was an ant creeping on one of his feet. Once upon a time, there
lived a very wise king who ruled a kingdom in Cipanas, West Java. The king and
queen had a beautiful daughter who they loved very much. However, the princess
never felt happy. Her parents’ gifts of jewelry didn’t make the princess happy.

How To Operate An Electronic Rice Cooker
Nowadays cooking is no longer a complicated things. Especially when it
comes to cooking rice, there is an electronic device designed specially for
this. We know this device as Rice Cooker, Magic Jar or Magic Com. The following
steps will show you how to operate a Rice Cooker properly.
1. Wash the cooking pot and make sure the inner side is clean.

Taj Mahal is one icon from India

Pinocchio
Once upon a time, there was a puppeteer
named Geppetto. He really wanted a boy but his wife has been died for a long
time ago. One day, he had an idea. He wanted to make puppet so he would never
felt lonely again. He made a puppet all nigght without resting. In the morning,
finally he finished his work. He named the puppet, Pinocchio. He played whole
day with Pinocchio. However, felt lonely again because Pinocchio couldn't talk

The next day, Pinocchio got caught by
thieves. The thieves was the owner of circus. Pinocchio became a slave for the
circus. He was famous because he was a talking puppet. Geppetto worried him.
Pinocchio didn't come home for 2 days. He found Pinocchio everywhere. When he
discovered the sea, big wave smashed him. He was on whale's stomach when he
awoke. He couldn't find the way out.
In different place, Ponicchio finally could get out
from circus. He went to home but Geppetto wasn't on there. He found Geppetto at
sea. He had the same accident like Geppetto. He met Geppetto in whale's
stomach. They got out from its stomach by made a fire. They went home back
together. In the end, they lived happy forever after.

How To use DVD player

bite when the school mini bus arrived. Then, I grabbed my school bag in one
hand, my shoes in the other, and
dashed out. My friends rocked with laughter as I put on my shoes on the mini
bus.
That
morning is a good lesson for me. I promise myself I would never do that again.

Lion and the Mouse
A lion was sleeping one day when a little
mouse came along and ran up and down over his face.
This awakened the lion and made him very
angry.
He put his paw over the mouse and said,
"What do you mean by waking me? You shall pay for this," and he
opened his big mouth to swallow the mouse.
"Oh, do not kill me, Mr. Lion!"

When the mouse saw that the lion was tied

Lightning is a sudden, violent flash of electricity
between a cloud and the ground, or from cloud to cloud. A lightning flash, or
bolt, can be several miles long. It is so hot, with an average temperature of

Lightning
occurs in hot, wet storms. Moist air is driven up to a great height. It forms a

and it is the friction between them which produces static electricity. When a
